The HH-270 thermostat is a result from these efforts. A Simple and symmetric design have been the key words during the design phase. January	New selfregulating cables DVU & DVI are designed for freeze protection inside and outside of water pipes, vessels and containers. These cables have a built-in thermostat to activate the cable at +5 C°. and a plug. Their application is frost protection of pipes. These cables are self-regulating, that means they regulate itselves meter by meter. These cables are specially designed for water application. There is a DVU solution – the cable for external use, and alu tape is recommended to be used for fastening the cable because of its resistance ability against chemicals and heat and at the same time it is good at reflecting the heat. Our carbon heating film is ideally suited for installation directly beneath wood or laminate floors. At less than half a millimetre thick, it has a negligible effect on floor height. June	In order to strengthen Dansk Varmekabel’s organisation and business objectives, a professional board has been established. Dansk Varmekabel has now been converted to a PLC company.
2005
December	New programme of self-controlling heating cables. Heatsafe is a new, self-controlling heating cable for a wide range of applications. Recently developed, the heating cable has an aluminium screen ensuring fine heat conductivity and an earthed screen.
September	Dansk Varmekabel moves to a new, larger domicile. After the move we will have 830 m2 at our disposal for administration, production and warehouse.
August	New and improved temperature sensors for industrial use. Our new temperature sensors for processing equipment work in the temperature range up to 150°C. At the same time it is very competitive compared to conventional PT-100 sensors.
June	No more twisting heating cables. Dansk Varmekabel has developed a new heating cable DVT-20. The new cable has a diameter of only 6 mm and is completely circular and symmetrical. The cable is produced with the newest environmentally compatible PVC-materials and maintains the newest regulations within the EU.
April	Dansk Varmekabel is moving. The company has decided to build a new domicile on 102 Lundagervej. The present premises on Fabriksvej and Thorsvej have long been too small and the extra room is highly necessary for all departments.
March	No more broom handles and sticks. Dansk Varmekabel is now able to deliver all cables rolled on a plastic reel with dispensing system. Dispensing the cable from the reel is now easy and simple.
February	New, thinner floor sensors. Dansk Varmekabel now introduces a new design in floor sensors. The new floor sensor has significantly improved qualities to resist humidity, which lengthens the service life of the sensor. Besides that it is easier to install in the fluted tube.
March 2004	New floor heating system. HeatBoard© adds only 4.5 mm to the floor's height. Dansk Varmekabel's new floor heating system makes it so easy to fit your new floor heating system without use of filler or glue. The system consists of aluminium profiles and it is easy to "click" them together just like you do parquet, and then you mount a thin heating cable in the channels of the aluminium. Quite simple and safe. The system maintains all requirements for personal security and is therefore approved - just like all our other products - to be installed in all kinds of rooms including wet rooms.
